Keri Masserant - Vice President

Philanthropy has always been a guiding force in my life, from the small acts of volunteering as a child at my church to the leadership roles I embraced in college through Dance Marathon. It's a passion that has shaped my values and led me to incredible opportunities, including my involvement with Team Fox Detroit since its inception in 2016. Now, as Vice President of the Board of Directors, I'm even more dedicated to our mission. This cause has a special place in my heart because of my grandma's courageous battle with Parkinson's disease. Her strength in the face of such adversity, and the challenges I witnessed her overcome, have solidified my commitment to finding a cure so that others won't have to endure the same struggles.

Over the past decade, my involvement with the Michael J. Fox Foundation has introduced me to some truly incredible people through events like New York MJFF galas, research saloons, and our own Detroit galas, golf outings, raffles, etc. These events raise awareness and crucial funds for Parkinson's research, and what I love most about Team Fox Detroit is that 100% of every donation goes directly towards finding a cure! Every dollar makes a difference, and I'm immensely grateful for the support of my family, friends, and everyone I've met along this journey. Together, we can – and will – find a cure for Parkinson's!
