Fox Trial Finder

Fox Trial Finder was created by the Michael J. Fox Foundation to help increase the flow of willing participants into the clinical trials that need them, accelerating the Parkinson’s drug development process.

Participate in clinical trials

Clinical trials are a final and crucial step on the path to developing better treatments for Parkinson’s patients today. Around the world, between 40% and 70% of trials face delays because of a lack of volunteers.

Fox Trial Finder will not only list ongoing PD clinical trials and research studies but will match registrants to the trials that need them and are best-suited to their specific traits. Fox Trial Finder also has a secure and anonymous messaging system, making it much easier to find and act on suitable opportunities to get involved.

Fox Insights

Fox Insight is an online clinical study where people with Parkinson’s disease and their loved ones share self-reported data and health experiences that improve the search for better treatments.

Share self-reported data

Fox Insights collects patient-reported data about health-related experiences from volunteers with and without Parkinson’s disease (PD). This comprehensive dataset holds the power to help researchers better understand patients’ unmet needs, redefine therapeutic priorities and optimize clinical trial design.

By filling out an online questionnaire from home every 90 days, volunteers add to a large data set that is advancing Parkinson’s research. Fox Insight’s flexible design offers participants the opportunity to contribute additional data via supplemental surveys and mobile technologies, such as smartphones and wearable devices. Through Fox Insight, people with and without PD connect with researchers and the broader patient community to work together toward a more complete picture of Parkinson’s and treatment breakthroughs.

Founder & President

Donna founded Team Fox Detroit in 2016, a 501c(3) public charity dedicated to supporting the Michael J Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research. She became President in 2018 when the charity she founded received its official IRS designation. She was diagnosed with young onset Parkinson’s disease in 2012 and has been enrolled in the Parkinson’s Progression Marker Initiative (PPMI) research study at the Cleveland Clinic for seven years. She is also enrolled in Fox Insight, an online clinical study where people with Parkinson’s disease and their loved ones share information that could transform the search for better treatments.

In addition to leading Team Fox Detroit, Donna serves as President of Serbian Sisters Ravanica whose primary function is to raise money to support children’s activities in the St. Lazarus Parish as well as other Orthodox charities in the Detroit metropolitan area.
