Fighting
for a cure

We are one of thousands of Team Fox members worldwide bringing awareness and fundraising locally for The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research (MJFF).

“Acceptance doesn’t mean resignation. It means understanding that something is what it is and there’s got to be a way through it.”
Michael J. Fox

In 2016, we formed Team Fox Detroit, or “Team Fox in the D,” to raise awareness of Parkinson’s Disease in the Detroit Metro area. Team Fox Detroit provides those afflicted with PD, their families, friends, and loved ones the opportunity to be intimately involved with finding a cure.

There are six million people worldwide living with Parkinson’s. In the United States alone, there will be 90,000 new cases diagnosed this year–and the incidence rate continues to rise.

As the world’s largest non-profit funder of Parkinson’s research, The Michael J. Fox Foundation is dedicated to accelerating a cure for Parkinson’s disease. The Foundation operates under one principle goal: to cure Parkinson’s and go out of business.
